I slept soundly with no dreams last night and I felt more refreshed than I had been for the last week! However, my Pokémon were still pretty beaten and I knew I had to go to a Pokémon Center . Bloody Nurse Joys…
Well, leaving the cave took some time and I encountered a few Pokémon along the way, and with my Pokémon so tired, I had to run away from them. Vaporeon seemed like he was dreading the water but I had no choice, and if I had no choice, Vaporeon certainly didn't either.
We surfed as quickly as we could, doing our best to avoid any swimmers. If any of them saw us, I only had Vaporeon and a frozen Machamp to fight back, and I had a feeling that neither would last very long.
Eventually, and after much hard work, Vaporeon and I arrived on the shore of Cinnabar Island . Oh man, what a bloody trip that was. I thought it would be a little while getting from Fuchsia to Cinnabar but not all this time!
My first thought was to go to the PokéMart and get a few items there. Apparently, I had racked up a lot of money together, both from wins and from my Uncle Gio's monthly pocket money. I bought a ton of potions, Pokéballs (as I noticed I was running out), some status healers, some batteries for my Pokédex and PDA, some food and water, and some candy. Candy was very important on a Pokémon journey. Also, I managed to buy some extra strong coffee for just in case I would have any more dreams like those other ones. This way I could stay awake for days. It was perfectly safe and bore no side effects.
I used what items I could on my Pokémon to make them feel better, but sadly, the PokéMart didn't have items that could restore PP. What is PP I hear someone ask (probably my mind)? Well PP is the energy Pokémon have to use their moves. Once they are tired and have used a certain move a lot of times, they can't use that move anymore until their PP is refilled. It's totally weird, like putting gas in a car or something.
No matter what, I had to go to the Pokémon Center . %@#00#!! Grrrr… so I bloody went. I raced to the counter and bloody let the Nurse Joy talk (who said she was really happy to see a familiar face, whatever that bloody meant) and took my Pokémon and healed them. When she gave them back, she was surprised I didn't own a Chansey. Why the bloody hell would I own a Chansey? Did I look like a bloody Nurse Joy or what?!
Next, I went over to the PC and brought out that blue bird and I found out what it was. IT WAS A BLOODY ATRICUNO! A BLOODY LEGENDARY! WHAT THE BLOODY HELL! Because I could only carry six Pokémon, I placed that Nidoran♂ into the PC (it was pretty useless anyways). I left and the Nurse Joy said "Hope to see you again soon!" Highly bloody unlikely!
Next up, I went to the Pokémon Gym. The Pokémon Gym Leader was called Blaine and favoured fire types. He said that only trainers with fire types were allowed through. I presented my Growlithe and was allowed entry.
Bones? Was I that skinny? And how did he know I had just been to the Pokémon Center ? I had to watch out for this person, obviously he was not only insulting, he knew exactly what happened on the Island .
He threw out his initial Pokémon, which was surprisingly a Growlithe. I let out my own Growlithe to see how it would fare against Blaine 's, and the battle began. It was almost a draw between the two Pokémon but Blaine 's won by a margin, and I had to return my Growlithe to his Pokéball. Knowing that Blaine 's Growlithe would last only a short time now, I allowed Gastly to have a go. For the first time in a while, Gastly actually won. I was beginning to think the ghost Pokémon had forgot how to live more than three sec… well damn, Blaine 's Ponyta used Flamethrower. Ah well Gastly, you did your best (which isn't that good).
My Machamp came out and taught that Ponyta the meaning of pain. Ever see a Pokémon's legs bend in all different directions? Yeah me too, but the point of it is, Ponyta is now permanently disabled. Woot!
Well, the battle was pretty balanced now and I thought it a good idea to try out my new LEGENDARY Articuno. This was going to be the best battle EVER!
Well first, the bloody blue bird didn’t want to listen to me (even turning to attack me instead of Blaine 's Pokémon), and secondly… ice is apparently weak against fire. Who would have known? Articuno lasted longer than Gastly but that wasn't saying much (since Gastly sucks).
Next up was Vaporeon and I was about to summon him from his Pokéball when I got a headache. At first, the pain was little more than an annoyance, so I released Vaporeon to the battlefield. Blaine 's Rapidash grew nervous of what would soon be his downfall. Water kicked fire's ass like a bitch. It wasn't even funny. Well it was to me, since I was dishing the damage. Oooohhh, it was going to be a good fight. Except, my headache got worse. The pain caused me to fall to my knees. I could hear a buzzing and eventually I fell to the floor. After that I blacked out. Wait, I can't say that now, I mean whited out.
Hope to see you again soon.
