So, I arrived in Lavender Town very early and looked out at the small town. My first stop was to the Pokemon Center. I was having nothing but non-stop battles for the past two days, my Pokemon must be exhausted! That and I needed to fix my party a little bit. So, after Nurse Joy #6 healed my Pokemon, I went over to the computer. I deposited Rattata and Butterfree, and exchanged them for Onyx and Beedrill.
Leaving, I did not know what to do with myself. I looked off to the pier and saw that the Black Shirts yet again blocked the way. So, I walked up to them to ask if I could pass. They slapped me hard across the face and told me to go play up in the tower, grinning as they said it. Why would they grin about me going to go play in a tower? Unless, this tower was filled with rainbows and sunshine.
Ignoring the large sign that said “Pokemon Tower: Ghost Pokemon Ahead”, I strolled in with an open mind. I mean, who believed in ghosts anymore!? I walked in to see trainers crying over their lost Pokemon. I felt no remorse, it was probably their fault they died. The obvious excuses, “I thought Charmander could swim!” or “Self-Destruct kills a Pokemon!? I never knew until it was too late!”
Walking up the stairs, there was a strange fog. What could this be? Cackling rang through the walls of the tower. What was so funny!? I didn’t realize until I looked down. A Cubone stood at the end of the room. Ha! I guess a Pokemon that got a skull stuck on it’s head was kind of funny. In a weird, kind of messed up way. So, I walked closer, taking out a Pokeball. I snuck behind a tombstone, watching the Cubone, hoping to be able to catch it without a fight. That was until I was scratched from behind. Yelling my second obscenity, I wheeled back to see a black ball with an aura. A Ghastly! At least, that’s what it looked like. Absolutely ghastly (get it? I’m punny!)
Letting loose Charmeleon, the Ghastly stared at it, grinning. Why was this little ball so happy!? It was mocking me to which I retaliated, “Yeah! Well, you don’t have legs!” It continued to cackle. I had obviously gotten into it’s head. So, I attempted to burn it to death. This didn’t work, seeing as how it managed to flee, causing me to hit the Cubone. It did not look happy to be burned. It ran at me, and I just didn’t have the heart to attack it! It was too cute! So, I grabbed it’s bone away from it and captured it.
I left down the stairs, and was noticing I was being followed by the Ghastly who had recently been following me. Now, I do not know much about ghosts, but something I have learned over the years is that they are dead people. They are extremely needy too. So, I decided not to catch the Ghastly, but simply let him follow me around out of the Tower. It stared outside and I stared at it. I wanted to see how much I could get it to leave. Gesturing towards my Pokeball, I threw it, letting it open, and the Ghastly allowed itself to be captured. I shall call it “The Creep”.
