Viridian Forest still proves too great a puzzle for me to master. I tried several different strategies to escape, but none proved worthwhile. First, I only went south. I managed to go in a circle. Then I tried north; same deal. East or west might work, but I’m just so tired from all this walking. I’ve not eaten a thing since before I came in here, and my stomach yells at me non-stop. All I do is suffer the arrows of constant maladies which threaten my journey onwards.
Food would be so nice right now.
Don’t think I haven’t asked for directions either. I’m not above requesting the help of the locals. Perhaps it’s the spores in the air or something, but all of these people are useless, or crazy. The Bugcatcher children don’t offer anything about directions, but are just oh-so keen about whipping out their Caterpies to wave in my face. I asked this reasonable looking boy with a samurai helmet on, but the idiot pulled a sword on me! He also had a Metapod, so I got out of there as fast as I could.
It’s getting dark now. Those green-shelled freaks will be on me soon. Maybe if I can justsdfa s;djkf
