Cool Trainer Andrew♂, Day 2: The Beginning

Greetings everyone,

I’m afraid my first day of being a Cool Trainer didn’t go quite as I expected.  I went out onto Route 15, where I did manage to find a large group of my fellow trainers.  Most were keeping the trainer legacy alive by standing listlessly in one place, waiting for someone to walk into their field of vision.  Some were walking in a circle, but I’m not so avant-garde as them.

My parents had taught me this creed since I was a child, “Never go looking for a fight with whoever, but always fight with whoever is looking.”  Personally, I’ve always been annoyed by the grammatical incorrectness of the phrase, but that’s a horse of another color.  Boiling the phrase down, it’s just more-or-less saying that a real trainer never provokes a fight unless they make eye contact.  This has been the law for generations.
Anyway, so I went out and found a nice spot to stand at along the road.  I did leave a bit of space behind me though, in case anybody wanted to walk around me.  I was sure that a trainer would come by soon, but one never did…

I was at my post for a good 18 hours, just standing there.

I did see another trainer, but he was diagonal to me, so we couldn’t fight.

I’m sure a trainer will cross my path soon.  I must keep my faith alive!  I’ve no reason to be disheartened, I’m Cool Trainer Andrew ♂.  I’m the greatest thing out there!  Tomorrow will be different, I know it will.

Write more later,

Cool Trainer Andrew ♂
