Cyan, Day 55: What The?

I would like to sincerely apologize for my actions as of late. They have been childish. Or so I have been told by the men and women at the Indigo League.

I showed up at the building, awaiting my praise after winning the Pokemon League Tournament. Purple happened to be there, I wondered if he was just here to watch my success. After all, he needed to learn how to be a real trainer.

As I walked up to the patrol man in front of the building, I flashed my eight badges at him, grinning like an idiot. He then asked for my ID Card, which I quickly flashed at him as well. Then, he asked for my victory card, which I had received after defeating Purple. I reached in my pocket, and it ceased to be in existence.

I searched all the way through my suit, swearing to the man I had it. His moustache and his body rejected me, letting Purple through. Purple showed all the correct identification, and was let in almost instantly. Why!? I had defeated him! I screamed at the man, yelling that there must have been a mistake, my voice cracking and breaking as I yelled. The man told me there was nothing he could do and told me to go to the next region if I didn’t wish to wait until the next year to compete again.

Of course… Johto. Not far from Kanto, there was an entire new region, just waiting to be explored! New Pokemon, a new life, and a new way to win. Asking if I could get in to the Pokemon League in Johto, the guard slapped me and told me to stop asking stupid questions. I promptly left (after shedding only four tears) and flew away on Dodrio, straight to Celadon. I would come back the next day.

I arrived at Celadon’s Pokemon Center and quickly deposited Dodrio. After this, I ran down the road. I needed to see Kate. She needed to know that I was never coming back again. I don’t know why I thought this, it might be this whole puberty thing.

Knocking on her door, I saw the lights flood the house as the door opened, with her mother there to greet me, strung out on Slowpoke Tails. I asked where Kate was, pleading that I could talk to her. The woman said some nonsense and finally spat out that Kate was already in Johto, and she never wanted to see me again. After this, I was vomited on and the door was slammed in my face.

I didn’t know whether to cry or vomit. Crestfallen, I left for my house to bathe and wash my clothes. I would leave back for the Elite Four compound in the morning, or find something else to do with my time. Before I could leave to Johto. I can’t fly there, Dodrio won’t go in the right direction, seeing as how I’ve never been there before.

Next stop, Johto. Stay classy.
