It was an accident! Honest! Well… it wasn't my fault. Nope.
Articuno got out of his Pokéball and started flying about, attacking passengers on the ship and blasting ice everywhere. Most of the damage was remedied by trainers using fire Pokémon but oohhhhh nooooo, Purple had to wreck everything.
I'm not sure what he did, but he certainly did something. You see, Articuno created an iceberg using Ice Beam, a large one. Now normally this would be nothing to worry about since ships can steer around them but nope. Purple did something and the S. S. Anne crashed. THE UNSINKABLE SHIP CRASHED. Ok, of course, this would be no problem either UNLESS PURPLE IS DRIVING!
THE UNSINKABLE SHIP WAS SINKING!
Chaos.
Utter chaos.
EVERYWHERE!
People were dashing for the boats or diving into the water with water Pokémon, and others were just stopping in their places with fright. The water was really cold so that most who went in it were freezing already, and there weren't enough escape boats for the people to get off. It was a nightmare.
Amidst the terror and horror of the S. S. Anne sinking, I managed to put Articuno into his Pokéball and run into the lower decks to rescue people. My Nurse Joy side was kicking in, begging for the chance to save as many people as I could.
I first saw Cyan racing around after a young girl, shouting at her for some reason. They seemed to be leaving so I pressed on, finding a few trainers who were fighting over some money they had stolen from the onboard shops. I told them to leave, informing them that the ship was sinking and that it was not a drill.
Next, I hurried further in the ship, finding a startling sight in the form of Trainer Andrew ♂ accompanied by a Lickitung. They both looked exhausted. I almost threw up when I realized what they had been doing. Human-Pokémon relationships were illegal for a reason. Telling them to leave the ship, I looked further and found a few more people running around, including the Smeagle called Jack. The little painting Pokémon wanted me to go with him and after finding no one else aboard in the lower decks, I headed back up. Eventually, I came to the captain's deck and found the captain drinking some dark colored liquid. He was drunk. I didn't ask him to move, instead I dragged the man out of his cabin and took him to the main deck and across to the bulwark where an escape boat was waiting for him, ignoring the pleas of poor people who tried to climb aboard the small vessel.
After the captain was safely away, I went back in the ship in the hopes of finding someone else. As I went, I tripped over something, banging my head in the process.
I am now unconscious.
