Cyan, Day 74: I’m Free, and Ready to Boat

My days of incarceration are free, and as I write this, I am sitting in front of the Pokemon Center in Vermillion City, sipping a lemonade. How did I do this? I believe it requires a bit of explanation.

While I was kidnapped by people (who I still don’t know), I was brought up to a room to be interrogated and beaten within an inch of my life. What they wanted I did not know, I was very dehydrated by this point. So, I told them the only thing I knew. Where the diamonds were hidden.

Telling them that they were buried underneath Diglett Cave was all it took to make the two violent men go berserk. They argued for several hours about who would go check to see if I was telling the truth, although they could not come to a conclusion about who would guard their prisoner. Eventually, their argument turned violent.

The one brought out a Growlithe, claiming he was once part of the Poke-Police Squad, and would burn the other to death. The other, let out a Koffing, pledging his allegiance to Giovanni and swearing that he would sooner die before he was killed by a policeman.

Now, I’m just a ten-year old, but this seemed stupid, even to me. So, as the two of them clashed into epic battle, I decided to walk right out of the room. Taking off my blindfold, I saw that the room I had walked out of was the roof of what seemed to be their stronghold. Releasing Dodrio, I flew towards Vermillion to escape.

After this long trek, over the next several days I went into hiding, hiding into Diglett Cave to be more precise. The Pokemon were nice to me, as Dugtrio showed me all of the friends he had made as a child (they’re ALL Digletts) and then proceeded with me down to the very bottom of the cave. Where the so called “diamonds” were hidden.

Approaching the final destination, I sent Rhydon out, commanding that he dig his way down into the ground. With little hesitation, he did so. After a few hours of digging, he stopped, and backed away, allowing me to look in the hole. With a grin, I screeched with enjoyment. Throwing out everything I didn’t need from my bag, I shoved it full of golden nuggets, screaming to the heavens that I must be the almighty one that had been chosen for good fortune.

Using my escape rope, I left the cave, quickly heading to the Vermillion City shop, selling every nugget in my possession. I made hundreds of thousands of Pokedollars within a few short minutes. Quickly buying a ticket for the S.S. Anne, a cruise ship making way to Johto, I went for a good night’s sleep.

Now, I guess all there is left to do is wait, and say… I’m so Muking rich.
