It occurred to me recently that things were, indeed, happening in the outside world while I attempted to kill myself in the bottom of a carton of ice cream. While that didn’t work, I did manage to ingest enough sugar to give myself diabetes. Nothing serious, don’t worry too much, I just need to watch what I eat from now on and carry insulin around. Beating up on myself really seems to play out poorly for me, every time.
But I’m back, I’m fresh, and with the S.S. Anne coming in soon I’ll be all ready to check out the Johto Region. While I suppose I could call the last few weeks a vacation, I think this upcoming adventure will be much nicer.
Lickitung is really excited for this, and she’s been going to all the stores around town buying things for the trip. It’s cute to watch her scurry about. In preparation, she bought me a book on how to speak Johtonese. A little mental exercise will do me some good.
Sorry there isn’t much to report, being a freelance trainer doesn’t offer much excitement.
