Nurse Joy, Day 20: Eccentricity

I have an uncle.  He's a...

...Chansey pajamas!  They gave me Chansey pajamas for bed.  I don't know why I wrote that.  Speaking of Chansey... where is she?  My Pokémon?  My friend?  I miss the drinks.  I need them.  All I get on the island is water accompanied by two mints.  Except, the mints aren't mint flavored.  They're something else.  Tangy and foul tasting.  Chuck says they're good for the migraines I've been getting.  I disagree with him though.  The headaches never seem to stop.

Pink McQueen was the woman we had to find.  She was once a Pokémon trainer or something and had recently entered the Pokémon League but then had gone mad and had needed to be restrained.  For a time, she had stayed at the New Island Institution but yesterday she managed to escape.  Obviously, the young trainer had had some help.  No one could get out of a room guarded by Mr. Mimes.  Those things could create invisible walls to prevent patients getting out.

Chuck and I went to see Doctor John Krabby and he said that the patient could not have survived outside the institution as she wasn't wearing running shoes.  Clearly, going barefoot out on the cliff sides of the island was suicide.  The grounds had been searched too.  Perhaps she didn't go to the cliffs or elsewhere.  Perhaps she was hiding somewhere close to the institution.

Later, we were taken to a posh building.  A woman called Dorothy played music in the corner and an elderly man was sat in a high-back chair.  His name was Doctor Jeremiah Blaine.  A Magmar stood nearby, heating a cup of coffee for his master.

"What's that music?" Chuck asked.  "Is it the Viridian Theme?"

To my surprise, I recognised the music.  "Lavender Town," I said.

...parents... they're dead now.  A snowmobile accident.  At least it was supposed to be an accident.  What if it wasn't?  What if...

"Very good," said Doctor Jeremiah.  "You have excellent defence mechanisms."

I have no idea what the man had been saying.

Going to go to sleep soon.  Its raining though.  I have to wear some black clothes while my nurse outfit gets clean and dried.  Not sure when it will be ready for me to when it will be ready for me to wear again.

Sweet dreams.

Nurse J-Joy
