Well, at least I'm not stuck in bed. I'm able to move around the Pokémon Gym and have a look at what's going on. I finally switched out Articuno for Aerodactyl but not before having Articuno pinned down and beaten up by Fluttershy the Ponyta (and by beaten up, I mean Fluttershy chased after Dratini across the Gym, trampling Articuno now and then without notice). I think Articuno has learned his lesson.
Still, it doesn't matter. Aerodactyl is now my flying type, replacing Articuno (fuck you Articuno!). Apparently, Aerodactyl is a prehistoric dinosaur that lived millions of years ago. Uncle Gio was impressed with my find.
At first, I thought Aerodactyl would be timid but as soon as he was flying around (and I can tell it’s a he 'cause... manly parts), I knew he was a beast. He soared around, roaring and biting at anything that came close. He even scared Fluttershy and Dratini away. What a badass. I love him already.
Mewtwo has been keeping an eye on me for some reason but I don’t mind.
