It was a calm night and I slept soundly in a small guest bedroom, even without the use of Dream Eater. There were no continuation dreams or anything, just one where I was chasing an Ursaring 'cause I wanted a hug. Lovely.
Today, my Uncle Gio showed me to the underground section of the Pokémon Gym. He said we could do the badge battle tomorrow. So that's all good. The underground was a vast place of laboratories, offices, barracks and miscellaneous rooms. Here and there were guest bedrooms for important people and Uncle Gio said I would be allowed to stay in one of those from now on. Mewtwo tagged along, floating as he went. He still had his armour on. What a trooper.
Uncle Gio then introduced me to a man called Sigmund Jung. Sigmund was a doctor and was going to ask me some questions while my Uncle Gio dealt with other tasks. I was taken into a room with a long chair that I could lie down on and Sigmund sat in a chair beside it with a pen and notepad. I waved to Uncle Gio and Mewtwo as they went and they both waved back. Mewtwo then closed the door behind them. Really, what a trooper.
"Hello there. I am here to ask you some questions to make sure you are having fun on your adventure. Now first, I want you to write your name on this notepad." I took them and did so. Sigmund accepted them back and looked at my writing. "Interesting."
Then Sigmund showed me some cards with funny blobs on them. He told me to say the first thing that I thought of when I saw them. The first was obviously a Butterfree. The second, a Beautifly. The third, a Hitmonlee with its legs chopped off. The fourth, a decapitated Seel upside-down. The fifth, well that one was a Question indeed. The sixth, an Aipom with only its tail-hand left. And the seventh and last one was Fool from my dreams. Sigmund asked who Fool was and I explained that I saw him in my dreams. Sigmund seemed to write all of this down, frowning as he did so.
"Interesting. Now, I want you to close your eyes and imagine you are in a happy place. Now tell me, where are you?"
"I'm... at Lavender... no... I'm at... I'm at the Pokémon Center in Lavender Town ." I said. Everything was really nice when imagining it.
"Interesting. Now, relax your body. Let yourself drift slowly. You can feel yourself relaxing now. You can feel a heavy, relaxed feeling coming over you. And as I continue to talk, that heavy feeling is getting stronger and stronger." Sigmund kept on saying things like that for a little while and I found myself drifting off.
I can remember most of what he asked, though the session ended abruptly when he started to enquire about a glass full of red liquid, which I was forced to drink sometime in my life. I can recall being terrified. What scared me so much about a simple glass? Never mind.
Eventually, Sigmund asked me about my father. I told him that my father was a Pokémon researcher who liked to travel and I added that my mom also went with my father on occasion. That was when Mr. Pokémon looked after me or when I went to Pokémon School .
Sigmund called my Uncle Gio on the phone as something seemed to trouble him. "Does she not know about us? Are you keeping this information from her? Do you think it is wise?" Uncle Gio must have said "yes" or something as Sigmund agreed and put the phone down. "Well, you've been a good girl so here's a lollipop and off you go."
It was a red lollipop. Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooot!
Next, I was taken to another doctor who took some of my blood. The needle hurt a bit but I was given another lollipop (this one yellow) so all was good.
After a while, I felt a bit tired and light-headed so I went to my new room. It had a four-poster bed and a dozen cushions! Yay!
Hope to see you again soon!
Haha Sigmund Freud and Carl Jung. Intelligent jokes and pokemon mix for some reason.
